Calgary will probably want a prospect as well for Tanev. The reports have been 2nd plus prospect but prefer a first and prospect. Otherwise believable.

Also Seattle being the Kraken might actually be interested in a bloody sink.

Serravelli can’t read the Flames owners mind. Tanev won’t be traded to Oilers. If all it cost was a 2nd he’d be traded by now.

Nah I think the Flames-Oilers relationship has been mended a bit. It will cost the 24'1st at a minimum but I think Edmonton is an option. The only two teams I'd rule out to ever work with Edmonton are Vegas and LA

If there is retention AND Ceci coming back who has an additional year at $3M plus then the picks would be a 1st and a conditional 3rd that can turn into a 2nd based playoff rounds.
