Pulock for Ehlers has been one of the hottest trades on here

Makes sense, the way I view it is Winnipeg gets a foward and Islanders get a RD. Both are overpaid so is a contract swap

The Jets can't afford to give away an RHD though, or they end up in the same place they are now, with not enough RHD.

Plus there's no chance Winnipeg takes back a bad contract in an Ehlers trade.

Oh, I know that, but I'm still not convinced he'll wanna "come home". Probably has roots (wife? child? best friends?) out there by now and WPG isn't that much ahead of NYI Cup-wise. Has a NTC for a reason. I don't see why he'd want to. I'd be happy to be dead wrong tho.

I would consider this from a Jets perspective if everyone with trade protection would agree to waive, personally though I think they should keep Ehlers and extend him for $7M×7,
unfortunately it sounds like he's a goner though.

In reality I don't think Pulock or Pageau waive. Have heard Pulock interviewed numerous times and he sounds like he isn't leaving NY anytime soon, I'm sure Pageau prefers to stay on the east coast, its much closer to home for him.

How is Pulock’s game? Are Isles fans good with dealing him because Dobson needs a new deal soon? Or has he not been so good recently.

He is still a solid top 4 d-man, not like how he was under Trotz, he is just one of the few players on this team who has enough value to get a legit top 6 winger

Interesting. This could really be quite the win win then. Jets have some top 6 talent to spare and their D is thin. Especially right handed guys!

At least you put the new Russian signing in the right spot. He’s probably a bottom 6 player and nothing wrong with that
