Van cant afford Lindholm and there are plenty of reports that they want to extend Zadorov over Hronek

But why include Appleton? I don't see why the Jets would give him up instead of a 3rd or something, didn't he have a pretty good season?</div></div>
If Pageau comes, we dont need him. Im sure we could get a pick but im not too worried about it in terms of this team on paper

No but it would be nice...The thing is, the Jets are a contender and they can afford him next year so he may...its also only a year for him

Perfetti is not a C...WPG tried him and he couldnt. his FO were at 35% and he couldnt keep up doing a 200' game. Now playing wing, he is a 190' winger, which is good but as a C, it didnt go well

Being from Saskatoon possibly, no room in Edmonton, Calgary probably not kicking the tires, possibly Winnipeg, but wouldn’t hold my breath.</div></div>
He would be a perfect fit for Lambert though...He can play C if Lambert cant, he is a great PKer and decent on the PP.....plus he is a cup winner

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>slapshot723</b></div><div>We need more offense from our defense and if Pionk can mesh well with Pelech, I think that makes sense. Plus, Pionk will probably make less on his next contract for less years, and will help be able to re-sign Dobson and Romanov more easily. I'm all for something around a forward and Pionk for Pulock and more (depending on the forward). It's a good framework for both teams, but would really suck to see Pulock in another jersey. We just need to retool so bad.</div></div>
literally my thought...we need a retool as well and NYI came to mind as I have always like Pulock...esp being a home boy

Pionk is the Jets #1 RD for offence and when the Jets need him, his D sucks. He would fit perfect in NYI as he is the 2nd best RD after Dobson. Why im trading him for Pulock is size as Pionk doesnt mesh well with Morrissey as both are on the smaller end

The 4th line needs to get bigger and have better PKers...enter Stenlund and someone like Carrier
I would also try and add a bigger RD like Pesce over Joki

Ehlers has one year remaining and he has done nothing in the playoffs ever,,,sadly.
KC demands too much ice time as does Scheif and they are not the best when playing together...
Dmen have to get bigger and thats why I did what I did with Pulock and Pesce
These are my reasonings. I added in players who have won as well

Game 3 lines please
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Feelers4Ehlers</b></div><div>I was a major advocate for Ehlers to be bumped to the top line and Connor down to the 2nd with Monahan but KC has looked so good this series already. I think keep that line together because it has been good. I really like moving Toffoli to Lowry and Nino and hopefully that gets Toffoli going because we need him going. I love love love Perfetti drawing in and putting him with Ehlers and Monahan. Perfetti brings more speed and would really help Ehlers. With the D pairings Schmidt needs to draw in going to Colorado. Stanley has played ok but he just doesnt have the hockey sense that Schmidt has. Also Bednar is going to match up MacKinnon against Stanley all the time and its going to be bad. Also Pionk can not play with Morrissey. Pionk isnt defensively responsible enough to allow Morrissey to jump up and push the offence. Bring Schmidt in and allow Samberg to move back to his natural left side and call it a day.</div></div>
I agree. I forgot about Pionk...that defaulted to the top line

He is a top 6 guy, not a bottom 6. Toffoli took his spot as we needed a RW and Perfetti isnt built to grind out a shift like a 4th liner does. Nothing against him but he is a great top 6 replacement guy for when injuries happen
