The last few games by Domi were unreal but I don't see that sustainable by him.
Probably just felt it, we saw the real Domi most of the year.
He was overall better than I thought he would be fine.
Still to me sweetheart deal is only way he's back.

Paul's cap is already the discount he went to open market he would make 4 considering he's playing mostly center and can be on PP/PK
Domi taking anything less would be stupid on his part as he is a guy capable of 40-50 points and 9-20 goals top 9 C/RW
Also got to factor taxes and such.
3.5m is the minimum he's signing for here</div></div>
I'd want to walk away from Domi then.
His lack defensive play worries me too much.
Bertuzzi I want back more than him, will be hard without moving Marner.<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aadoyle</b></div><div>He lacks defense but makes up for it with playmaking. Bertuzzi is more of a net front guy and actually of the two Domi makes more sense as look at those passes he was feeding to Matthews. Lot of good wings like Bertuzzi in FA.
Teuvo
Henrique
Duclair
Debrusk
Like Domi at 3.5m x 6-8 years is a good deal</div></div>
Turbo will get paid
Henrique could good add, I'd pay more for him than Domi but likely can't afford
Duclair will fielding lots offers IMO
DeBrusk likely can't afford but same price range as Bertuzzi

Domi has little ground to ask for anything over 3.5m rn. Maybe u can push 4m on the line but no more
I think he's gonna take a long term low money deal here.
Calling it now 3.5m x 6-8 years</div></div>
I'd like his aav to be lower cause to me Paul > Domi

I think we need to add Lindholm.
Real chances of him signing at say 7 million per?
Or adding 1 year 5 million and then term deal negotiation in season at 7?
Only happens if one of Marner or Tavares are gone.

Something like

You get 2 nice wings and a top 4 Dman for Marner with Timmins as the throw in
Chycrun can take over PP1 moving Rielly to PP2</div></div>

Saros is a top 10 goalie in the NHL rn, Fabbro is 25 and a nice defensive Dman, and Woods a top 15 pick in last years draft. Basically kill 3 birds with one stone
For where Fabbro would succeed here vs. Liligren there was a chart explaining it a while ago to where he was one of NSH better defenders putting up some good stats with and without Josi. While the offensive upside is less then defense is better.</div></div>
Nyquist would be salary filler, the main course is Saros and Wood.
Fabbro, if Liljegren is not good enough, either is Fabbro.
We need 2x 2 way D man minimum.
Bring back Bosch for 3rd pair role if he takes 2 million <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Random2152</b></div><div>Target is the guy I've been yelling about for the last year and a half. Sam Dickinson. But I don't know that he will still be there at 6</div></div>

You get a nice prospect, nice young Dman, and you solidify the goaltending

Marner for Saros + ROR + Pick the nice prospect would not be bad
ROR fits the 3c/2c spot here and will come at a reasonable 4.5m
Saros can sign a 6.5m x 6 year extension to be the starter for years to come
And the prospect or two can be either a trade chip for other deals or like Cowen be the guys who eventually come up</div></div>
Can't see ROR coming back tp us.

Would be interesting to see what the deal would look like but if you can do it correctly you could plug multiple holes with one stone</div></div>
Who interests you beyond Saros from Nashville?
I don't think someone like Evangelista is available
